The NU stainless steel grooved pipe connection system includes a wide range of stainless steel (316L) grooved couplings and fittings.

After the pipe ends are grooved, a pressure-resistant rubber seal is placed over the pipe ends. The hinged halves of the coupling are then placed over the rubber seal in the grooves of the pipes, after which the bolt is tightened. The pressure-resistant rubber seal is then compressed into the coupling, creating a leak-free connection between the pipes.

The NU stainless steel groove system is FM certified in sizes from 2"/60.3mm up to and including 6"/168.3mm
